Momma's got a brand spanking new *toy* for Christmas!

I apologize ahead of time for the over-share here, but I could not resist. This is just way too cool to keep to myself...

Tonight, as soon as Daddy got home from work, we all piled into the minivan and headed straight into town to pick up the most powerful and updated, top-of-the-range model on the market.

We ordered it online together the other night and Daddy has been itching (even more so than Momma) to go and pick one up before they were all snatched off the shelf for Christmas!

Daddy had that sucker assembled before the kids had even got their sweaters off. He couldn't wait. Momma's been getting so frustrated with our old one, which takes far too long to get the job done.

It's not a very practical stocking stuffer - so what's the point in holding out for another 12 days?

You can't imagine the delight when the hubs' Granny offered to shell out for a new one. Back in her day all the hard work had to be done by hand - the 'good' old-fashioned way!

"Daddy, all I need is 15 minutes!" I yelled as I carried the shiny new contraption through to the bedroom to play. I couldn't even wait until the kids were in bed to have a go.

There was no way I was letting Daddy do the test run!

I knew he was a little jealous - not of the fun I was having without him, but because he wanted to play with it all by himself! We've never had one with such powerful suction and a ball before, I bet he'll be trying it out for size too before the night's out!

But it'll be me who gets the most benefit out of it, at the end of the day,

and OH. MY. GOD!

It was SO good I can't wait to give it a whirl in every room of the house. Seriously, it reaches places no man has ever been before. Who knew I was such a dirrrty girl?

Back off ladies! Mr Dyson is all mine

    1. Ah, Stephanie. I was going for HUGE belly laughs and LOLs - but I'll take a smile and a titter from you all the same! The whole thing played out way funnier in my head as I was whizzing that baby around our home. The hubs thought I'd gone mad - he had no idea why I was finding the vacuuming SO hilarious:D
